This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of all Regulated Medical Waste (except non-conforming Waste) generated by the Arkansas Army National Guard Medical Detachment and Troop Medical Clinic located on Camp Joseph T. Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas and the Medical Dispensary Building located on Ft. Chaffee, Barling, Arkansas. The sucessful offeror shall collect, transport, treat and dispose of all Regulated Medical Waste from all three locations once per month. Regulated Medical Waste is forbidden from disposal through standard waste disposal methods and requires special handling and due to health and safety hazards. The successful offeror shall provide services between the hours of 0700-1530 on Monday through Friday, except on recognized US Federal Holidays, or when the Government facility/installation is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-Directed facility/installation closings. Please read the attached Performance Work Statement for more details of the requirement. The Arkansas Army National Guard intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price five year contract. The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year of 12 months and four 12 month option years. Questions regarding this requirement shall be submitted in writing only to monica.d.walker.civ@army.mil by no later than 7:00 AM (CT) on Tuesday, 23 April 2024. No questions will be answered telephonically. An amendment containing the Questions and Answers will be uploaded to the RFQ as an Attachment on SAM.gov by close of business on Monday, 22 April 2024. Offerors shall provide their pdf formatted quote package by email only to monica.d.walker.civ@army.mil by no later than 7:00 AM (CT) on Thursday, 25 April 2024. Do not mail quote packages. Quotes recieved in the following formats will not be accepted: Excel Spreadsheet, Word Notepad Document, Power Point Slide Presentations, CD's or Floppy Disc.
