This requirement will provide non-personal administrative, management, technical, and operational support to the U.S. Army Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute (PKSOI). Task requirements are to include: : support the development / implementation of the Army’s Gender Dynamics (Women Peace and Security (WPS)) program as pertains to PKSOI being designated the Army’s lead. Develop training materials and presentations on Gender dynamics/WPS. Collaborate with interagency counterparts to ensure Gender dynamics/WPS is adequately addressed in operations and exercises as well as doctrine. Support to USAFRICOM/USARAF Exercises with a focus on preparing the Regionally Aligned Force to support partners training for UN peacekeeping missions. PKSOI has expanded its mission; key tasks for PKSOI include focusing Department of Defense policy and capacity for SSTR operations and on key strategic and operational lessons learned, case studies and after action reviews. PKSOI supports the US Government interagency processes for future SSTR operations. Additionally, PKSOI advises the Joint and Army Staffs on concept and doctrine development and combatant commands on integration and execution of initiatives to assist ongoing missions.
