Notice Type: Sources Sought The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339112 with a corresponding size standard of 1,000. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide automatic blood pressure cardiac monitors supporting five (5) stress testing (also known as General Exercise Test or GXT) systems in the BAMC Cardiology clinic, located at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Joint Base San Antonio – Fort Sam Houston, Texas. These monitors shall provide the following Salient Characteristics a. Automated, reliable systolic and diastolic blood pressure (BP) measurement during exercise (e.g., with treadmill or bicycle ergometer), eliminating the need for provider or technician to manually take BP readings (e.g., inflating pressure cuff, listening to Korotkoff (K) sounds, recording pressure values in the stress application). b. Numeric display of BP and other patient information, with a waveform display of K-sounds c. Oscillometric (non-exercise) readings without any ECG connected d. Optional capability to monitor oxygen saturation (SpO2), percent oxygen saturation of arterial blood. e. Export of pressure data obtained directly to government-owned stress/GXT systems (Xscribe II (ver 3.x), Q-stress (ver 6); Abbott Laboratories Inc.) f. Electronic compatibility for ECG (electrocardiogram) trigger from the same systems above.
