The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to provide the following products: Agilent GC-MS Instruments The Defense Forensic Science Center (DFSC) requests the brand name purchase of four of three Agilent 8890 GC - 5977B gas chromatographs equipped with mass spectrometer detectors (GC/MSD) and 7650 50-Sample Autosamplers, and one Agilent 8890B GC - 5977B MSD System equipped with the 7693 Autosampler and Ion Gauge Controller. These purchases include GC/MSD software and NIST 2017 MS Library Bundle reference libraries. Brand name The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set¬ aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered.
