This SSS is to notify companies that the Defense Logistics Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is seeking qualified sources for the acquisition of the following items in support of the CH-47 CHINOOK weapon system.
The government intends to acquire specific parts for the CH-47 CHINOOK weapon system under a single purchase contract, with deliveries to Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. Production lead time is specified in days after contract award, with and without first article testing. The parts are restricted to The Boeing Company due to government data rights limitations, making reverse engineering uneconomical. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements, and interested firms are encouraged to seek source approval through the AvMC website. Foreign firms must process requests through their respective embassies.
