---AMENDMENT 1: Add Q&A--- ---AMENDMENT 2: Update Q&A document to include additional questions/answers--- ***PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SOW, COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SF18 FOR COMPLETE DETAILS*** Mission: The OAR Air Resources Laboratory (ARL) Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division (ATDD) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee conducts research to advance atmospheric science and technology and provide the highest quality atmospheric, meteorological and climate products and services to NOAA, our partners, the research community, and society to protect human health and our environment. ATDD’s research is aligned with NOAA’s objectives to build and maintain a Weather Ready Nation, enhance our nation’s abilities in Climate Adaptation and Mitigation, and promote a holistic understanding of the Earth system through research and the development of an integrated environmental modeling system. Purpose: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms to generate design and construction documents for the replacement of several roofs and develop the documentation for potential site improvement necessary to allow for proper drainage of these roofs to controllable areas. The ATDD Complex consists of three (3) buildings: the Main Building, which includes an Electronics Shop addition, the Wind Tunnel Building and the White Storage Building. The Electronics Shop addition, the Wind-Tunnel Building, and the White Storage Building all require new roofs.
