This is n... Sources Sought Amended 7/21/2022 - Amendment invites Large Business to participate and incorporates a revised draft SOW which now includes catering services. This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is neither a solicitation announcement nor a Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bids (IFB) and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The Government is conducting market research to determine the level of interest and capability of potential qualified Large Businesses and Small Businesses capable of performing as a prime contractor for the requirement outlined below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Government will use responses from this Sources Sought to make an appropriate acquisition decision about soliciting this requirement. BACKGROUND The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking capable firms to provide Pop-Up food services on the NIST Gaithersburg campus located at 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20899. To fulfill this requirement, NIST is considering a firm-fixed-price contract with period of performance of 1-year. REQUIREMENT Contractor shall be required to provide all labor, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and supervision necessary to setup temporary pop-up restaurants and serve meals to staff and visitors on the NIST Gaithersburg, MD Campus in accordance with the attached Draft Statement of Work. VENDOR RESPONSES All firms under NAICS code 722310 who are interested and capable of performing the requirements outlined above are encouraged to respond to this notice. Responses to this Sources Sought notice shall be submitted via email, in PDF format to Trent Stevens at trent.stevens@nist.gov. Please include the following info in the subject line of your emailed submission: “Sources Sought TS070122 – Pop-up Food Services” Responses should be limited to 5 pages and should include the following: A capabilities package that outlines the firm’s ability to perform the work outlined in the attached Statement of work and identifies prior experience performing services similar to the Governments requirement. A copy of active SAM.gov registration showing: Company name Address UEI number Identify any/all current business socioeconomic status (i.e. - Large, certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned (EDWOSB), or certified HUBZone). Identify the name, title, address, phone number, email address of company point of contact. Note the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this notice. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this notice. Telephone inquiries will not be entertained.
