This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number NMAN7200-19-00178 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-01. This acquisition is a full and open competition under NAICS code 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance; the small business size standard is $7.5M. Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Annual Inspection of Fire Control and Fire Alarm Systems CLIN 2: OPTION for Additional Service Under Condition Found Re port Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to perform annual inspection and service of NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson fire protection system IAW with Statement of Work, 46 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 71.25-20, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Codes and Standards, and must be ABS certified or provide ABS Certified Inspection.
