The U.S. Census Bureau is in need of lodging for LED Workshop attendees in the Washington DC Metropolitan area during the period of September 3-6, 2019. **Please note meeting space is not needed as the Workshop will be held at the U.S. Census Bureau in Suitland, Maryland. This solicitation is for lodging only. Lodging specifics are as follows: September 3, 2019 45 sleeping rooms September 4, 2019 45 sleeping rooms September 5, 2019 20 sleeping rooms Other Requirements: Metro Accessible Lodging rate must be equal to or less than per diem rate. Hotel managed room block Full service restaurant on-site Wi-fi available *Accommodations are preferred in the Navy Yard area of Washington DC, Arlington, VA and Alexandria, VA, but proposals from other areas in DC will be considered. The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Interested vendors that hold an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) that can meet the requirements and provide rooms as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov by May 14, 2019. Please include Solicitation #RM-19-0067 in all correspondence. Questions may also be sent to email address as stated by May 7, 2019 at 5pm Eastern Time. An amendment to the solicitation will be posted with questions and answers within 3 days. Full vendor name, DUNS# and Cage Code must be included in Proposal Submission. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, via Government Purchase Order.
