NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory intends to sole-source repair services for Teledyne WorkHorse 300 kHz Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) to the manufacturer, Teledyne RD Instruments in Poway, CA, due to proprietary hardware, firmware, and calibration requirements. The repairs include replacing proprietary electronic boards, firmware updates, calibration, and diagnostic testing to restore instrument performance to manufacturer specifications. The repaired instruments will be deployed in NOAA PMEL oceanographic moorings for long-term scientific measurements. The period of performance runs from award through August 30, 2026. Interested firms that believe they can meet the requirement may submit substantiating documentation within 15 days of this notice's publication.
