The government awarded a sole-source, five-year firm-fixed-price contract to the University System of New Hampshire (UNH) to provide IT support for NOAA’s National Ocean Service, Office of Coast Survey. Performance is at the Joint Hydrographic Center located at UNH, serving NOAA employees and NOAA contractors working with UNH researchers in UNH-provided and shared facilities. The support must be tightly integrated with UNH’s IT infrastructure, and physical and IT security concerns prevent use of a third-party contractor. Services include computers and services, basic IT services, and high-performance data storage. The contract is intended to support 15 NOAA users throughout the period of performance, with up to four additional users (19 total) in any option years.
