COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Purchase Shipboard DI Water Purification System (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number PMEL-20-01085 (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06. (IV) This solicitation is being issued with no Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 333318, the PSC code is 4620 (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial items: Distilled water purification system in accordance with the attached specification. Award will be made on a best value basis. The evaluation factors are of approximately equal value: 1. Capability and Functionality of offered system for NOAA’s intended use. 2. Price. 3. Vendor’s experience in this industry.
