This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as full and open competition, with no set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 334112. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This will be awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable vendor. This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial products: This order is for one (1) ExaGrid EX6 Backup Appliance with one (1) year of support/maintenance. BRAND REQUIREMENT: ExaGrid brand physical backup appliances are already in use at the SWPC. This requirement is for the replacement/upgrade of the physical box, and ExaGrid uses their own backup software, which is proprietary to the physical box. ExaGrid brand is required to ensure seamless transition to a newer appliance with little to no disruption to operations. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED COMBINED SYNOPSIS WITH ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH ALL VENDORS MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
