In support of this mission, the NWS Pacific Region (PR), Facilities Engineering Branch (FEB) provides facilities support and maintenance of NWS facilities, one of which is the Data Collection Office (DCO) Lihue. As part of this responsibility, the exterior of DCO Lihue Operations Office; Upper Air Inflation Building; and Hydrogen Tank Enclosure needs to be prepared for, and painted. Painting is necessary to preserve the original synthetic stucco finish and extend the life of the exterior surface. SCOPE Provide all equipment, materials, tools, transportation, labor, and supervision necessary to properly prepare surfaces to be painted without damage to the surface, and paint the exterior of both the Operations Office Building and Upper Air Inflation Building (UAIB), including all sides of the UAIB hydrogen tank enclosure wall, all surface mounted electrical conduits and device boxes according to the provisions and requirements contained herein.
