The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region Headquarters is seeking for the services of interested and qualified private and commercial vendors to replace the plumbing devices identified in this contract, located at the Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Miami, Florida. Water valves, back flow preventers, and other plumbing devices installed on the main water service line servicing the Weather Forecast Office and National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida, rusted-out after 25 years of use, to the point where they cannot be operated due to the possibly of getting stuck, leaving the facility without water for weeks, until they can be replaced. Same applies to the lift station shutoff valves.
