This is a pre-solicitation notice for non-personal services for a contractor to renovate restrooms/ready room at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) at 2500 Challenger Drive, Midland, Texas 79706. This is a request for quote using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 236220. The small business size standard is $39.5M. The performance period shall be completed 60 days from date of award. Pursuant to FAR Part 36; the magnitude of this construction project is: Between 25,000 and $100,000. In order to receive an award, the offeror shall complete the annual representations and certifications electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The RFQ will be made available only on the Contracting Opportunities website https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp and is scheduled for issuance on August 9, 2020 and quotes are due by August 19, 2020 no later than 4:00 pm MST/MDT. The offeror's past performance on related contracts will be evaluated to determine, as appropriate, successful performance of contract requirements, quality and timeliness of delivery of goods and services, cost management, communications between contracting parties, proactive management and customer satisfaction.
