Written quotes are being requested. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented and FAR Part 12 Commercial Items with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This is a solicitation from the United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City (EAD-KC), 601 East 12th Street, Room 1734, Kansas City, MO 64106. The requirement is to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the National Data Buoy Center located in Stennis Space Center, MS. This RFQ and the following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-101. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $15M. Department of Labor wage rates are applicable to this requirement and can be obtained at http://www.wdol.gov or upon request for Hancock County, in Stennis Space Center, MS. All items under this contract shall be FOB Destination and the place of acceptance is National Data Buoy Center, BLDG 3203, Stennis Space Center, MS 39529. Requirements: The Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment, tools, and personnel necessary to provide preventative maintenance and repair service for the National Data Buoy Center Data Center's HVAC, Uninterrupted Power Supply, Humidifier, Backup Generator, and Automatic Transfer Switch systems as described in the Statement of Work. Additionally the Contractor shall provide emergency 24/7 on-call services for the above equipment by a certified techinician. Please see Statement of Work for a list of all specifications. EAD-KC requires that all contractors to be eligible for award, the quoter must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) database and complete the "Core Data", "Assertions", "Representations and Certifications", and "Points of Contact". No award can be made to a company not registered in SAM.
