This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented and FAR Part 12 Commercial Items with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This is a solicitation from the United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City (EAD-KC), 601 East 12th Street, Room 1734, Kansas City, MO 64106. The requirement is to provide 1 year NIST calibration service for multiple reference equipment devices for the National Data Buoy Center in Stennis Space Center, MS. This RFQ and the following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-105. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5M. Requirements: The Contractor shall provide 1-year NIST calibrations for all of the listed reference equipment which are shown in the line items of the attached solicitation. EAD-KC requires that all contractors be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) database and complete the "Core Data", "Assertions", "Representations and Certifications", and "Points of Contact" to be considered for award. No award can be made to a company not registered in SAM.
