The Lifting Platforms will assist in the weather balloon release process by deactivating the solenoid switch that cuts off the flow of hydrogen or helium gas to the balloon once it has reached its predetermined lift. Please make sure to follow the Offeror Instructions. The NAICS code for this action is 334513. The government intends to procure using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
