This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for calibration and maintenance services on the referenced equipment that the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) uses to test and troubleshoot various systems and equipment deployed on NDBC operational stations to collect data for weather, hurricane, tsunami and climate forecasts, modelings and warnings. The NAICS code for this action is 811210 and is set aside 100 percent for small business concerns. The government intends to procure services using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The government requires all contractors doing business with the federal government to be currently registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) ad to have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).
