The objective is to procure piece parts that will make up the circuit that fulfills the design as specified. The design calls for a transmit portion that will employ a local oscillator that can produce a 24 GHz CW signal. A Driver Amplifier capable of amplifying signals at the K- Band level will be necessary. Two antennas will be needed as well that can transmit and receive in the 24 GHz range. On the receive only side, a band pass filter will be in-line with a Low Noise Amplifier that will be implemented along with a 1st mixer stage feeding into two low pass filters. Mixers will be utilized on both transmit and receive, and the mixers need to be capable of handling 24 GHz. All piece parts must be connectorized via SMA connectors or some other coaxial connector method other than the antennas.
