The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA/ARL/ATDD, plans to solicit and negotiate on a brand name basis, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (C), to procure a new disk shelf to work with an existing NetApp FAS2620 server that meets the technical requirements in this announcement. A disk shelf with 30x 10TB enterprise class hard drives that meet or exceed all the technical specifications listed below is to be delivered to the location that is specified in the Deliverable Schedule. Also, a NBD onsite warranty and technical support services that co-term with our existing NetApp FAS2620’s warranty services must be provided. Considerations other than pricing will be the determining factors for selection. These considerations include the hard drives and the disk shelf provided must be fully compliant with the existing NetApp FAS2620 storage system. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Our storage server expansion requirements are as follows – A disk shelf with 30 x 10TB Enterprise Class hard drives that are fully compliant with NetApp FAS2620 (SN#721739000334) NBD Onsite warranty and maintenance support services that co-term with our existing NetApp FAS2620’s warranty services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Evidence must be provided of ability to provide the required service. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. An award will be made to the entity who can meet the specific requirements and is most advantageous to the Government considering price and other related factors on an all or none basis. This will be a firm fixed-price purchase order, with payment terms of Net 30. No other additional contractual terms and conditions are applicable.
