The NOAA National Weather Service intends to acquire repair/replacement services for 50 Setra Model 470-T sensors to restore them to like-new condition and original manufacturer specifications, with nonconforming equipment returned for rework at no additional cost to the government. This is a sole-source intent to Setra Systems Inc., Boxborough, MA, as the original equipment manufacturer, and is not a request for proposals or a solicitation. Interested responsible firms may submit capability statements and quotes, including repair/replacement cost, return shipping, and estimated delivery schedule, for consideration in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be registered in SAM with a Unique Entity ID to be eligible for award. The government may also issue a purchase order to Communications & Power Industries Electron Device Business, Inc., if determined more advantageous.
