Ammendment 0001 This Ammendment 0001 to Solicitation NMAN7928-19-00733 is to provide vendors with Questions and Answers. Q1: Is their a need for a factory supplied lubrication for this rope or left bare? A1: NO ship has lubricant for the wire they will place on the line when it is spooled to the winch. Q2: Are there any particular reel / spool dimensions needed to facilitate installation? A2: No preference needed. As long as it is delivered on a reel so it can be spooled to a winch. Q3: Is the 6,010 ft to be on one reel or spool? Or does it need to be in certain increments amounts? - 500 ft, 1000 ft, etc. A3: One Continuous Length on reel or spool. Q4. Are there specific packaging requirements for this wire rope? A4. No Q5. Are there specific delivery requirements for this wire rope? A5.No Q6. Can your facility accept LTL deliveries? A6.Facility accepts everything from envelopes to forklift required material. Q7. An "actual" break strength is listed in the requirements. We submit that a wire rope manufacturer will report actual break strength to indicate meeting the minimum break strength requirement. Since no two ropes can be expected to break at the same load, 000000000000 requests removal of an "actual break strength" requirement in the solicitation. A7. I think taking the requirement off the solicitation is fine, vendor will still be required to provide certificate of actual break strength. Break strength listed is from the current's wire inspection when purchased. b. All other terms and conditions remain the same. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number NMAN7928-19-00733 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Sample data of current line: Certificate will be required to display the similar information below.
