Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires a replacement frequency converter unit (FCU) for NOAA’s WP-3D aircraft. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NMAN7200-20-00207 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-01. (iv) This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 335311, Ship Building and Repair; the small business size standard is 750 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: 1 EA Unitron FCU PS-94-444-16 (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: 1 EA new Unitron FCU #PS94-444-16. This is a brand name requirement. Vendor must be recognized by the OEM as an official distributor. Quotes must be provided on company letterhead.
