AMENDMENT 0001 This Amendment is to accomplish the following: This requirement has been changed to unrestricted for Full and Open Competition. To Extend the Solicitation Close Date to July 10, 2019 All Other Terms and Conditions Remain the Same. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Aviation Operations Center - requires a nose boom welded for one of their aircraft. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number NMAN6000-19-01273 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-02 Dated 06-05-2019 This acquisition is unrestricted for Full and Open Competition under NAICS code 336413 Other Aircraft Part and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard is 1,250 Employees Line items are as follows: CLIN001: Welded test piece with qualification report. The contractor shall develop a welding plan and/or procedure, to weld a government provided test piece of mass substitutes, consisting of similar round aluminum material. The contractor shall provide an evaluation of their weld showing how it meets the specification. The government will review the method used, inspect the weld and make a decision to proceed or not. CLIN1001: Option to deliver final assembly with report. The contractor shall develop a welding plan and/or procedure, and weld the government provided three parts, 153230-107 tube, 153230-103 fitting, 153230-105 cone, into one final assembly. The contractor shall provide an evaluation of their welds showing how they meet the specification. The government will review the method used, inspect the welds and make a decision to have the contractor weld a second set of the three pieces into a final assembly. CLIN1002 Option to deliver second final assembly with report. The contractor shall weld a second set of the government provided three parts, 153230-107 tube, 153230-103 fitting, 153230-105 cone, into one final assembly. The contractor shall provide an evaluation of their welds showing how they meet the specification. The government will review the method used and inspect the welds.
