Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires three (3) each brand name or equal Cummins Onan or Northern Lights Marine Generator Sets for the small boats assigned to NOAA Ship Rainier. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NMAN2190-21-01860 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333618, Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 1,500 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Three (3) Each – Marine Generator Sets brand name or equal to Cummins Onam Marine Generator Set Quiet Diesel Series 4/5 QD Model MDKBH or Northern Lights M673L3G (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the items in CLIN 1 per the attached statement of need. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. FOB Destination Delivery is required no later than October 20, 2021 to: NOAA Ship Rainier 2002 SE Marine Science Drive Newport, Oregon 97365 (viii) All applicable provisions and clauses are attached in a separate document.
