Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires fabrication and replacement of a section the raw water pipe aboard the NOAA Ship Fairweather. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NMAN2120-21-01312 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336611 – Ship Repair and Rebuilding; the small business size standard is 1,250 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Remove, Fabricate, and Install Piping (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the piping repair services per the attached statement of work. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. Period of Performance: June 15 – 25, 2021 NOAA Ship Fairweather USCG Base Juneau 345 Egan Drive Juneau, Alaska 99801 (viii) All applicable provisions and clauses are attached in a separate document.
