Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires SOLAS approved furniture for the NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker for the expansion of the officer berthing. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NMAN2120-21-00947 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 337121, Institutional Furniture Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 1,000 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Two (2) Each – Metal Berth, Double, with Two Drawers, Inclusive of Two (2) Each 38” x 80” IMO Marine Foam Mattress (Firm) CLIN 2: Two (2) Each – Metal Berth, Single, with Two Drawers, Inclusive of One (1) Each 38” x 80” IMO Marine Foam Mattress (Firm) CLIN 3: Four (4) Each – Metal Desk, Double Pedestal CLIN 4: Four (4) Each – Metal Bookshelf, Wall Mounted CLIN 5: Four (4) Each – Sink CLIN 6: Three (3) Each – Toilet, EVAC VT910 Desk Mounted Toilet Assembly with Vacuum Interface Valve with 7 L Tank (or Equal) CLIN 7: Six (6) Each – Metal Wardrobe CILN 8: One (1) Each – Sofa (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the SOLAS approved items in CLIN 1 through 8 per the attached statement of need.
