Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – The NOAA Ship Rainier requires the procurement of 3 commercial grade Energystar laundry machines. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2190-22-00083 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333318, Laundry machinery and equipment (except household-type); the small business size standard is 1000 employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Laundry machines for the NOAA Ship Rainier. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The replacement for the Wascomat W630 - 30.5" Depth x 28.25" Width x 46" Height -Capacity capable of washing loads equal or greater than replacement model (30lbs) - Water drain discharge on the left rear of the machine from looking at it from the front. - 110VAC 1 phase or 440VAC 3 phase - Must be Energystar compliant. The two smaller machine replacements for our two Wascomat W620s - 28" Depth x 26" Width x 44" Height -Capacity capable of washing loads equal or greater than replacement model (20lbs) - Water drain discharge on the left rear of the machine from looking at it from the front. - Must be Energystar compliant.
