(i) This is a brand name combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2190-21-01844 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). Only quotes received from Caterpillar authorized distributors/re-sellers will be accepted for this quote. Vendors that are not listed on the Caterpillar website as an authorize distributor/re-seller should provide proof of their authorization with Caterpillar with their quote. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. (iv) This requisition is set aside for small business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336390, Filters (air, engine oil, fuel). The small business size standard is 1000 Employees. This is a brand name requirement.
