The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center - Atlantic requires an AML MVP-X CTD-type sensors for use with Thomas Jefferson’s MVP 100. These sensors are used to acquire sound speed profiles critical to multibeam surveys. Thomas Jefferson currently owns two of these instruments which regularly need to be returned to the manufacturer for calibration and certification and are also prone to faults and failures during operations. Having an additional two units would prevent loss of operational capabilities due to malfunctions or delays in return of equipment. Expected/quoted delivery is 2-4 weeks from date of purchase. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number NM-AN2190-21-01626 TJ_MVP-X Sensors is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. This acquisition is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 1,250 Employees. Line items are as follows: PKG-MVPXCTD-10 – Quantity: 1 MVP•X all Xchange instrument configured with: C•Xchange: 0-90 mS/cm T•Xchange: -5-45°C P•Xchange: 0-1000m Depth rated to 1000m. Package includes: instrument, sensors, and storage case Deliver by or before 8/1/2021 – 08/20/2021. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; 2. The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; 3. Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; 4. Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any. 5. Address the ability of meeting the requirements per the Specifications with a detail material specification or data sheet, pictures of the item, and authorized OEM letter to sale or distribute their products. 6. Authorized distributor only for this procurement. 3rd party sales will not be accepted. Documents showing authorization to sale a product shall be provided with the quote.
