July 12, 2023 Posted Questions and Answers Version 2 and Requsted References July 6, 2023 Posted Questions and Answers Version 1 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires fabrication of one (1) each gangway and turntable. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-01425 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332323, Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 500 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: One (1) Each Gangway and Rotating Turntable. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the items in CLIN 1 per the attached statement of need. Requests for site visits will be scheduled no later than July 3, 2023. The ship’s tentative location and schedule are: San Francisco – July 3 – 6. Site visits will not be scheduled for July 4, 2023, as it is a Federal holiday. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.
