Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires the replacement of the AC system on board the NOAA Ship Ferdinand R. Hassler 2702 survey launch boat. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-01181 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-03. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing. This solicitation is being posted as a small business set aside with a small business size limit of 1,300 employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Provide and install new AC system IAW the statement of work. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The NOAA ship Ferdinand R. Hassler requires the procurement of a replacement AC System on board their 2702 survey launch boat. This is being solicited as a brand name or equivalent requirement for the purchase of a Artic Wave HA-12VDC-1200 rooftop A/C, 12,000 btu or equivalent and its installation. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. FOB Destination delivery is required from 06/20/2023-06/25/2023: NOAA Ship Ferdinand R. Hassler, USCG Station Charleston, 196 Tradd Street, Charleston SC 29401. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial, applies to this acquisition without addenda.
