Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson requires direct replacement of a failed Marathon ship service diesel generator (SSDG). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-01053 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 335312, Motor and Generator; the small business size standard is 1,250 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: One (1) Each – Direct replacement for the obsolete 433RSL4827 model generator with a new and genuine frame/model 433RSLxxxx. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the items in CLIN 1 per the attached statement of need. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.
