Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires direct replacement components for the Furuno DS-60 installed aboard NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada. This is a brand name requirement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for compatibility to existing systems or equipment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-22-01054 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 1,250 Employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Four (4) Each DS600 Display Units CLIN 2: Four (4) Each RD502 Dimmer Controller CLIN 3: One (1) Each DS610 Distribution Unit CLIN 4: One (1) Each DS620 Transceiver Unit CLIN 5: One (1) Each DS63150 Transducer with 50 Meter Cable, Waterproof/Underwater Connector for In-Water Installation CLIN 6: One (1) Each DS661ABS Gate Valve and Housing (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the items in CLINs 1-6 per the attached statement of need. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. FOB Destination delivery is required no later than September 15, 2022 to: NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada 202 SE Marine Science Drive Newport, Oregon 97365 (viii) All applicable provisions and clauses are attached in a separate document. (ix) Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) and assigned ratings is not applicable.
