Amendment 0001 Extend this solicitation for Full and Open Competition Quote due date December 23 2022 0800 All other terms and conditions remain the same End of Amendment 0001 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center The NOAA Ship Nancy Foster will require containment boom in support of a fueling operation in Tampa, Florida. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NM-AN1000-23-00330 23_ASF_BOOM_Tampa. (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08. (IV) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 213112. The small business size standard is $41.5 Million. (V) This specification contains requirements for providing containment boom for NOAA. REQUIREMENTS: Require 500 ft of containment boom deployed on the seaward side of the vessel from bow to stern. Boom will be made fast to the bulkhead so that the vessel is contained between the boom and the bulkhead. Boom will be deployed by contracted company without assistance or supplies from the vessel. Boom shall be in place by 0800 and remain until completion of fueling evolution, likely before 1600. Contractor will require TWIC to enter facility (VII) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance. Period of Performance 1/2/23 from 0800 - 1600.
