Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires the purchase of one (1) SN36AF/ANT12 Antenna/Radiator and one (1) XN12AF/4 Antenna/Radiator for the NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker’s S-Band and X-Band radars. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN0000-22-01339 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220– Antennas, transmitting and receiving, manufacturing. This solicitation is being posted as a small business set aside with a small business size limit of 1250 employees. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Procure Long Lead Parts Required in Order to Overhaul the Ship’s Radar Turning Units. (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The NOAA ship Reuben Lasker requires the purchase of one (1) SN36AF/ANT12 Antenna/Radiator and one (1) XN12AF/4 Antenna/Radiator for their S-Band and X-Band radars. This is a brand name requirement for Furuno parts only. Please include expected shipping costs in your quote. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. FOB Destination delivery is required no later than 10/1/2022 to: NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker, 1839 Water Street, San Diego, CA 92010. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial, applies to this acquisition without addenda.
