The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a licensed contractor to manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste from its primary facilities. The work will be performed at the NIST site in Gaithersburg, Maryland, the Department of Commerce Boulder Labs in Boulder, Colorado, and includes one annual pickup at a broadcast facility near Fort Collins, Colorado. The contractor will be responsible for waste pickup, consolidation, transportation, and treatment, storage, disposal, or recycling at their own permitted facilities. The contract also includes providing emergency response services.
