Design and Integration of a Manufacturing Robotics Workcell

Notice ID:NIST-SSN-26-73WORKCELL

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking sources to design and integrate a manufacturing robotics workcell that can perform an industrial task repeatedly for extended periods. The workcell must fit within a 12’ x 18’ footprint, include two to five robotic systems, a conveyor, and a Human-Machine Interface, with a digital twin provided in a platform like RoboDK or Siemens Process Simulate. The contractor will procure materials, assemble and test the workcell at their site, then integrate and demonstrate it at the government site, followed by providing documentation and in-person training. The anticipated period of performance is one year, beginning in late 2026 or early 2027. No budget amount or location for performance of services is specified.
