This is a sources sought notice for market research to identify potential suppliers of a highly specialized, integrated thermal analysis and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry system. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) aims to procure one set of a TG-DTA system coupled with GC-MS to create a laboratory platform for advanced thermal analysis linked to semiconductor manufacturing waste recovery. The system has detailed technical requirements, including two specialized furnace compartments (TG-DTA1 and TG-DTA2) with specific temperature, pressure, and measurement capabilities that must be integrated with the GC-MS. The procurement is anticipated for Fiscal Year 2026. The work will support the CHIPS Metrology Program's mission to build measurement science for critical material recovery and supply chain resilience.
