The instrument must meet strict technical requirements, including precision below 0.01 ppm at 1.5 T, accuracy within ±5 ppm independent of temperature, a frequency range of at least 1 MHz to 1 GHz, and an interchangeable probe head covering 200–500 mT with a remote passive head sized to fit 1.5 mm x 9.5 mm.
