Fourier-transform spectrometer
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking sources for a compact Fourier-transform spectrometer (FTS) to support the development of portable infrared drug sensors under the TRANQ Research Act. The FTS must provide continuous spectral coverage from 2 to 11 mm with a spectral resolution of 0.5 cm?ยน or better, and work with a user-supplied light source and MCT-cooled detector. The government intends to sole source this requirement to Bruker Scientific, LLC unless alternative sources are identified. No specific budget amount or performance location is mentioned in the notice. Responses are requested as soon as possible to inform market research, with no formal solicitation currently available.
