Tunable Low-noise Short Wavelength Visible Coherent Light Source System
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking sources for a tunable, low-noise, frequency-doubled fiber amplifier that generates 200 mW or more of coherent 780 nm light from 10 mW or less of 1560 nm input. This equipment will support primary acoustic measurement systems at NIST’s Quantum Measurement Division. The required unit must be continuous-wave, fit in a standard 19-inch rack, and operate on 115 VAC power. Responses to this sources sought notice are due as soon as possible, preferably before the closing date, with questions accepted until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on May 21, 2026. No budget amount or performance location is specified in the notice.
