This is a sources sought notice for planning purposes only, not a solicitation, to identify domestic sources for a new HID DNA Quantitation System (QuantStudio 5) for NIST’s Applied Genetics Group. The system must meet detailed technical specifications, including a fixed 96-well block, at least 6 VeriFlex zones, multiplexing with no fewer than 6 dyes, and include installation, training for up to 5 NIST personnel, and a one-year warranty. Performance will take place at NIST Gaithersburg, MD (Building 227, Room B257), with training required within 10 days of installation. NIST anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation in the fourth quarter of FY26 and awarding a contract by the fourth quarter of FY26. Interested parties are asked to describe their capabilities, previous experience, socio-economic status, and domestic manufacturing status.
