Ultra Low Noise Laser
This is a sources sought notice for market research, not a solicitation. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires two ultra-low-noise laser systems with a center wavelength of 1550 nm (+/-15 nm), output power greater than 100 mW, and a Lorentzian linewidth under 250 Hz. Each laser must come in a benchtop housing with a DC power supply, include a 12-month warranty, and be new—no used, remanufactured, or custom items will be accepted. The location for performance is not specified, and no budget amount is provided. Respondents must submit their capability information by email before the closing date, with responses limited to four pages.
