Many of the test kits required extra steps of dipping swabs into the solution first and then dropping solution onto a testing device. A few test kits required analyzers to read the solutions and the extra step of introducing control swabs to test the analyzer. The BinaxNOW Ag Card Rapid Antigen self-test kits provide us with rapid results on the test card, ease of testing by eliminating steps of dipping swab into the solution prior to the testing device, and a test card that displays results without batteries nor a mobile application.
