While the Government has contracted for charter services for mooring retrieval and deployment, the Government usually participates in the activities. In this case, no Government employees will be present. Solicitation and coordinates are attached. NO telephone inquiries will be accepted. PLEASE NOTE: This solicitation is for potential services in the event that a NOAA vessel is unable to conduct the work as planned. This solicitation may be cancelled if NOAA determines third party services are not needed. Because this is a backup plan, any award will likely be on short notice prior to performance. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, NFFS7100-20-03209, is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and inocoprated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08.
