SWFSC Marine Mammal and Turtle Division (MMTD) has a requirement for a training vessel (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) to be used for training sessions for small Unmanned Marine Systems in the future, as well as the ongoing biannual UAS training workshop as per attached Statement of Need. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a small business set aside. The associated NAICS code is 33661. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. With your quote please provide per FAR 52.204-24 whether this work will or will not provide covered telecommunications equipment or services. Provision/clause are attached. If your SAM.gov profile has been updated with 52.204-26 provision then this is not needed.
