AMENDMENT 0001 4/25/2023: QUESTION: While we understand that the Base (40,000 gallons) and Option (10,000 gallons) items are to be delivered over twelve months, we were hoping to obtain additional information regarding the expected delivery volume per delivery. ANSWER: Based on historical data we average 5-6 thousand gallons per delivery. There have been occurrences were upwards of 7,000 gallons were delivered but that's been a very rare occasion. Updated NAICS to 221210 1150 employees NOTE: The incumbent is Plaza Fueling Agents Inc. in the amount of $228,666.68 for one year and no changes in scope. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Purchase and delivery of heating fuel (oil) to Sandy Hook lab for annual deliveries to the Northeast Fisheries Science Center, James J. Howard Laboratory is located at 74 Magruder Road, Sandy Hook, NJ 07732-4054 for twelve months from date of award, in accordance with the incorporated statement of need. (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NFFM77232301552SRG. (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal (IV) This solicitation is being issued as a total small business set-aside.
